Dr. Burzin received his orthodontic training at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, CT. In conjunction with his orthodontic training at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Burzin studied at the University of Aarhus Royal Dental College in Denmark in 1990.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science, Summa cum Laude in Biology in 1985, Dr. Burzin attended Stony Brook's School of Dental Medicine in Long Island, NY. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, with honors, in 1989 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
He believes extensive continuing education (CE) experience is important to providing excellent care, which is why he has also completed over 1000 CE hours in a variety of topics including cosmetic dentistry, dental emergencies, oral surgery, dentures, laser dentistry, implant dentistry, full mouth construction, smile make over, occlusion, restoration and prevention, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral pathology to name a few.
